What is Brahmbhatt ?
The etymology of the word Bhatt means the superior brahmin, as bhatt means great in Hindi. The Bhatt claims descent from Kavi Rishi, a human son of the god Brahma. The Hindu sages Sutra Rishi, Sanjay Bhatt and Arya Bhatt are said to belong to this community. They were Brahmin by caste, Bhatt Brahmin were found in North India.
