Proud to say that about 90% of our Samaj from Dhanbad, Giridih, Hazaribagh even from Bihar was his Students to whom he helped financially and giving freeship.

Commemorating puniya theethi of my beloved Dadaji Late Dr.Sachchidanand Rana S/O Lt Er. Gaurishankar Rana. My grand father’s 8th punnaya teethi was celebrated in Dhanbad inter college where his idol was installed on 11th Aug 2017.My grandfather joined R.S. More College in Dhanbad in1957 as lecturer and became its Principal in 1975.He nursed the college like a child nd took it to its heights, by making it a Constituent unit of Ranchi University, he started PG Degree too.Took aid from UGC nd got constructed a number of buildings for college.He was principal of Sindri college, Maithion college as well. He was members of Senate nd Syndicate member of RU nd holded a number of post in Ranchi University.
I am proud to say that about 90% of our Samaj from Dhanbad, Giridih, Hazaribagh even from Bihar was his Students to whom he helped financially and giving freeship.He appointed many lecturer, clerk,peon in college during his tenure. He happened to be one of the bold,disciplined Principal of Ranchi University. He was associated with many colleges of Dhanbad as its President, Governing body member. He joined Late Shri.Chabinath Maharaj nd started Sanjay Gandhi college in Nirsha in which 80% teachers were appointment from our Samaj.
In social life too he was very active. He was President of 20 points implementation program of Late Indira Gandhi. He was also member of Jail committee of Dhanbad.
Even till his last breath he helped people in opening school nd colleges for the upliftment of education.
Today Dr S N Rana foundation distributed scholarship to the toppers of the college.
On this occasion a large numbers of educanist, intellectuals ,students,MLA of Dhanbad, and members of our Samaj paid tributes to him.
There are many more contributions which made in his life time.His absence in our family disables us. I wish he would have stayed much longer with us and enlightened us in our lives. Miss you Dadaji…..
